Mission
#myschoolrules will seek all avenues to discover and distribute positive stories concerning Oklahoma Public Schools. While understanding that all schools face both success and challenges and should therefore remain in a constant state of self-evaluation while striving for better ways to equip and inspire students, #MySchoolRules seeks to improve public perception of schools leading to more awareness concerning the best of our schools, leading to better decision-making by educators, school leaders and policy makers on behalf of all students.

#MySchoolRules is a grassroots effort that will…
A. Encourage public school parents, patrons, educators, and administrators submit a video online using the #myschoolrules hashtag telling their compelling personal stories concerning their positive experiences at their local public school.
B. Provide these stakeholders an effective electronic forum to distribute these stories using #MySchoolRules social media pages and this website, and by also contacting appropriate press organizations in order to encourage widespread distribution of the most interesting and inspiring stories submitted.
C. Contact appropriate policy makers including but not limited to lawmakers, the Oklahoma Department of Education, the Oklahoma Teacher of the Year, local school boards, and any entity that would benefit from hearing great news about their local school.
D. Improve public perception of education in Oklahoma by sharing stories via our #myschoolrules social media pages on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and our You Tube page in order you populate news feeds concerning these incredible stories of the impact of Oklahoma public schools.
E. Work to encourage effective policy decisions regarding Oklahoma Public Schools that benefit the students of Oklahoma.
